Connecticut Commuter Services

This Year, It's All About You

Last May, commuters in Connecticut came together answering the rally cry from Governor Malloy and pledged to try a green commute during CTrides Week.

Workers carpooled, vanpooled, took buses or trains, walked, biked or telecommuted instead of driving alone to work.

Headlines Made

They were joined by Hartford's Mayor Pedro Segarra, Senator Beth Bye and DEEP Commissioner Daniel C. Esty and followed by the television, radio, online and print media.

This year, it's your turn

During May 13-17, pledge a shared ride on our homepage, then try taking a bus, train, carpool, vanpool, bike, or walk to work.

Post photos of your shared trip on our Facebook page and let us show off your efforts!

I'm ready to share! Help me find my rideshare options.    Thanks anyway, I'll explore on my own.
